Transitioning my bedroom from Summer to Autumn

Photo Credit I know this post is up a bit late as summer officially ended three days ago, but everything has been a bit hectic recently and I still wanted to post this! In Summer, I like my room to be bright, cool and light. Luckily for me, the majority of my room is white. However, I do have a black feature wall and black carpet, which does dull everything down a little bit - as well as a huge tree right outside my window! 
One of the things I like to do to brighten my room up is put on a nice bright duvet cover, like these ones from Parachute Home. I have one of the Las Vegas sign and it's a gorgeous sky blue colour. This brightens up my room so much and helps me cling onto summer a little bit longer. The ideal duvet cover to brighten up my room would be a gorgeous crisp white, but I'm too scared to get one as I'd end up getting tan all over it! 
I also like to put a fan on in my room before I head up to bed to cool my room down. I have one of those rooms that is boiling in the summer and freezing in the winter, so it is difficult to get the temperature right! As we're just coming into colder weather the fan is being put on less and less.
