Max Factor Miracle Touch Creamy Blush

A few months ago, I complained about a Max Factor product I had used - I'd had a bad day, the product in question was waterproof mascara...that wasn't actually waterproof. This resulted in me, a crying mess typing out an email about how the mascara was now all down my face. Kindly, they emailed back saying they had sent out a voucher for me to use and when it arrived I was extremely happy. Max Factor have amazing customer service, I must say! With the voucher, I decided to buy Max Factor Miracle Touch Creamy Blush. And yes, I did use it before taking photos of it! Naughty me!

The shade I own is Soft Pink, as when I was choosing the shade, it looked like the only wearable one. I love how easy this blush is to apply, you can either use your fingers and blend it straight in or I also like to use the Real Techniques Stippling Brush as it works well with cream blush! It blends in so easily and adds a beautiful glow to your cheeks. The first time I used it I picked up way too much product - a little does go a long, long way!

The tiny pot doesn't look like it's worth the £6.99 it costs, however for the little amount you use each time, I think it certainly is. Have you tried this blush? What did you think?

February Favourites!

Hello everyone! So it's that time of the month again. No - not that time of the month, the time of the month when all the favourites posts start going up! My favourites haven't changed from January really, with the exception of a few things I've been using new in February and really love!

Max Factor Clump Defy Waterproof Mascara

As I went on holiday earlier this month, before I went I decided to look for a good waterproof mascara, to wear on the beach and in the pool. I decided to try Max Factor's new Clump Defy Water Resistant Mascara while shopping with my friend Chloe, rather than sticking to Maybelline The Volum' Express Colossal Mascara waterproof mascara that I have used for years.

The packaging looked great, and I had read some brilliant reviews about the original Max Factor Clump Defy Mascara.

The first few days of my holiday I wore it and loved it. It didn't clump, it made my lashes voluminous and certainly didn't clump.

However, when I finally set foot in the pool after half the week, water splashed near my eyes and the mascara completely came off! I was really disappointed, as it was nowhere near waterproof!

On that note, if you are looking for a waterproof mascara that will stay on near water, I wouldn't choose this! For a water resistant mascara I will definitely stick to what I know next time! :)
